Messenger

Sometimes we see something, and it evokes a feeling, a memory, a presence of one we miss. For some, seeing a cardinal in the backyard, so brilliantly red against winter sky and tree silhouette, signifies the spirit of one much loved. Birds are the perfect messengers; metaphors of hope and light… a little comforting connection point, bringing us closer to someone far away.
