Littlest Christmas Angel

“I wanted to create a piece that could add some sparkle and drama to the Christmas nativity story… This little angel approaches the scene with her hands raised to her face as she looks on with awe and wonder. I wove gold leaf throughout her hair to suggest a halo and added gold to her sleeves to enhance her gesture. Her title is an affectionate reference to childlike awe at Christmas time.” —Susan Lordi
